OPTIONAL PRIVATE STORAGE · 11 SEPTEMBER 2026
Your files. Your choice.
Choosing a file checks it inside your browser. Only selecting Confirm save sends that private file to our server. You can keep using the original local workbenches and their downloads without server storage.
What is stored
We store the exact private worksheet file, its engine and workspace identifiers, saved version, size, integrity hash and dates. Your active Crown wallet's stable identifier keeps your files separate from other wallets. A small operation history supports safe recovery when a connection is interrupted.
Your wallet key
The page holds the key in the open tab's memory and sends it over HTTPS to our private API. The server sends it over HTTPS to the existing Crown wallet authority for a read-only access check each time. This does not spend credits. We do not separately retain your wallet key or wallet-authority payment history in private storage. Any contact information you include in the chosen worksheet is stored with that file and can appear in its recovery copies and backups. The page does not save the key in browser storage or put it in a URL. Anyone holding your current wallet key can access that wallet's saved files, so keep it private.
Downloads and recovery
A recovery copy contains private file contents and operation details, but no wallet key. Keep it securely on your device. Use the same wallet to recover an interrupted save or deletion. Reopening a saved file in a workbench requires a fresh review; storage does not verify the truth of its contents or approve an external action.
Deletion and backups
Confirming deletion removes the current saved file. A minimal deletion record and operation history remain to prevent accidental replay and duplication. An old recovery copy cannot restore a deleted server identity.
The backup policy keeps at most seven recent daily snapshots and removes older snapshots during successful rotation. Deleted file contents can remain in an earlier snapshot until it rotates out. During an operational interruption, backup removal may require manual recovery. Files you have downloaded, and copies you share yourself, remain under your control.
Storage safeguards and limits
Private service directories and database files have restricted filesystem access. HTTPS protects transfer. This release does not claim end-to-end encryption or verified encryption at rest. The server operator can access stored files for recovery and maintenance. Save only information you are authorized to store; avoid passwords, payment credentials and unnecessary personal information.
Pilot storage allows up to 10 MB of current file data per wallet and 256 MB across the service. Workspace identities count toward a lifetime limit of 100 per wallet and 1,000 across the service, including deleted records; deletion does not free these identity slots. Successful save history is capped at 2,000 per wallet and 100,000 across the service, with deletion still available. Reading and deletion remain available to an active wallet independently of its remaining credit balance. The service does not add team accounts, message sending, automatic collection or autonomous execution.
