Agree the scope before calculating the price

CrownProposal is useful when you already have an approved INR rate card and want deliverables linked to those rates, explicit acceptance criteria and milestones that reconcile with the total. It gives you a quotation, an itemised CSV and a review record.

A spreadsheet can be enough for a simple estimate. This workflow adds explicit rate references, acceptance ownership, supplied terms and a recorded three-file delivery. It does not choose profitable prices, win a client or replace your commercial review.

Build a quotation you can explain

1. Enter your approved rate card. Give each rate a stable ID, description and exact INR amount. Do not use guessed market prices.
2. Map the deliverables. Choose each rate ID and quantity, then state what acceptance looks like and who reviews it.
3. Write the boundaries. Supply scope, exclusions, dates and payment terms. If you include tax, enter the amount and your basis explicitly.
4. Allocate the milestones. Their amounts must add up to the quotation total. Set a clear trigger and due date for each.
5. Review and save. Check every fact and calculation before using a credit. A compatible previous quotation can support a version comparison; this sample has no previous version.

For repeat work, export an unfinished draft or a reusable business/rate-profile file. The rate profile excludes client scope, tax and milestones. Reopening files clears approvals so the new quotation gets a fresh review.

Five fictional photographs, calculated exactly

Fictional Willow Studio prepares a quotation for Fictional Oak Workshop. Two hero photographs use rate HERO; three detail photographs use rate DETAIL. Prices are supplied by the fictional operator, not recommended market rates.

The ₹123.45 tax amount is a fictional test value, not a tax rate or recommendation. The tool does not infer whether tax applies.

The named fictional buyer reviews the acceptance criteria. For the hero images: “Two 2400px approved images with supplied brand colours.” The scope includes one review round on each photograph and excludes publishing, models, licensed stock and advertising spend.

What still needs your judgement

• The bounded preparation supports up to 40 rates, 20 deliverables and 12 milestones, subject to the form’s total input limits.
• You supply tax, terms, prices and permissions. The output is a reviewed draft, not independent financial or legal advice.
• The workflow does not send or sign the quotation, collect the customer’s payment, create an invoice or deliver the services you quoted.
• Version comparison requires a compatible previous quote. This fictional example correctly records that none was supplied.
